Learning About the Law

Learning About the Law uses very simple wording to teach students with middle-to-upper English as a Second Language skills about their legal rights and responsibilities in British Columbia.  Learning About the Law is produced in partnership with the People's Law School.

The Workbook describes laws which apply to important life activities such as working, having a family, getting a driver’s licence, settling disputes, and going to court. Topics include:
