Biases, whether conscious or unconscious, can impair one's ability to resolve and address conflicts. Through a guided reflective exercise, students will explore how unconscious bias and affinity bias shows up in their own life. In this lesson, students will learn that it is crucial to actively seek out viewpoints and evidence that challenge our own beliefs. This is a foundational skill that students need to successfully navigate conflicts in their lives.
