Who is it for: Self-identifying equity-seeking*  women between the ages of 15 and 19.
When: February 21, 2025 (9 am - 3 pm)
Where: Surrey Courthouse 14340 57 Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
Cost: Free

*Equity-Seeking: This term is used to refer to communities and groups that experience significant collective barriers in participating in society. This could include attitudinal, historic, social and environmental barriers based on age, ethnicity, disability, economic status, Indigeneity, gender identity and gender expression, nationality, race, sexual orientation, etc. 

About this Event
For many young people, a career in justice may feel out of their reach. This event is focused on helping young women find inspiration from diverse women who are successful legal/justice sector professionals. The goal of this program is to show that there is a place for everyone in the legal profession.
This event is organized by the Justice Education Society (JES) and a dedicated organizing committee. The first event of this kind was run by OJEN out of Waterloo. Find more information about the origins of this event here.
